An Exceptionally Fine Pair of George III Walnut Candlesticks

Turned by an extremely skilled craftsman, the domed foot sits beneath a fabulous barley twist stem, which starts with two octagonal rings at the base, and finishes with an octagonal candle socket flaring outwards with a very detailed moulded bobeche, into which an elaborately shaped brass ferrule is engineered.

Of outstanding quality, colour and patination.
