A Rare 14th Century Double Socket Candlestick

This beautifully patinated candlestick has a tall central pricket, with a ring-turned base, upon which sits the twin nozzles. The stepped base is decorated with narrow ring-turnings and a shallow rim for catching spent wax.

Possibly Maastricht or Dinant, circa 1400-1450.
